Bible School

A six-week discipleship experience to learn and grow closer to Jesus in community.

What to Expect

Teaching & Equipping

Bible school students will engage in sessions led by Campus House pastors and guest teachers on a variety of topics, including the Bible, theology, spiritual formation, and mission.

Community Life & Meals

Students will lead shared devotional times, share meals together at least three times per week, and study, process, and enjoy life alongside one another—all to call one another up through relationship and encourage the larger Body. In addition to these rhythms of community life, students will also participate in a retreat experience designed to deepen relationships and spiritual formation.

Mentoring

Students will meet with a discipleship mentor consistently. Mentors come alongside students with the goal of encouraging, challenging, and seeing the gifts of God released in individuals.

Spiritual Disciplines

Students are given opportunities to engage in practices together such as prayer, worship, meditating on Scripture, silence, and journaling. This is meant to be stretching, allow for spiritual growth, and establish rhythms of life both personally and communally.

Tuition & Housing

We are asking that you pray for God to provide $400 for full-day students, or $50 per course for students attending evenings only or not for the full six weeks. This tuition is to offer community meals and activities, pay teachers, and provide necessary materials. If tuition is a barrier to your participation, please reach out to Shane (shane@campushouse.church) to discuss scholarship options. If you need housing, there are options available. Please indicate this need when you sign up.

A Note from Joy

“What is your treasure? What is the goal and desire of your life? What would you give everything to possess?” – Skye Jethani, With.

My sweet friend Morgan always reminds me of her deep desire to “know God more.” She is relentlessly faithful to this longing—regardless of her circumstances or struggles, you can almost guarantee she will return to this simple prayer: to see more of God and His heart.

I often feel stumped when I ask myself how I can know God more. There are seasons when I see Him clearly in Scripture, meet Him in prayer, hear Him in solitude, and experience His heart through serving—continually discovering more of who He is. And then there are seasons when He feels distant, unreachable, or complicated in a way I can’t quite untangle on my own. In those moments, I often find myself talking with Morgan and encountering God through her words, her faith, and her steady pursuit of Him.

So often, I need my community to remind me that Jesus is the ultimate treasure—that living with God is the greatest desire of my life. I need the faith of my friends to reorient my heart and set it on fire again.

Are you in need of this reminder? Are you in need of a space to step further into Jesus-centered community?

I want to invite you to walk with me and others in the CH community this summer at Bible School, with the shared desire of growing together in our understanding of God and His ways. Our hope is to grow closer to Him, to live differently because of that nearness, and to participate more fully in His mission in the world.

Consider joining us on this six-week journey as we seek to unearth more of the treasure that is Jesus—His heart, His presence, and the gift of Scripture.
